Enterprise Support Specialist - Loans

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary: Responsible for the overall supervision and operation of loan processing, loan maintenance, loan review, insurance and collateral tracking, payment processing, verification of mortgage and all other loan functions. Responsible for the performance of, but not limited to, the below-listed duties:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise Loan Operations staff
  • Oversee balancing of appropriate GL accounts as they pertain to Loan Operations
  • Assist CCO in setting goals and objectives for loan servicing operations
  • Assist with verification of accuracy of loan documentation and balancing requests
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to loan officers as needed
  • Assist with Loan Department compliance issues
  • Oversee booking of all loans
  • Oversee preparation and recording of loan documents
  • Oversee input and scanning of loan documents
  • Write and implement policies and procedures for the department
  • Insure timely and efficient mailing of all notices pertaining to annual escrow analysis
  • Prepare and submit information to Capital Growth Solutions for use in preparation of monthly Colson Report on SBA Loans
  • Maintain relationship with loan platform providers
  • Process the clearing of erroneous transactions and file maintenance
  • Assist in loan research and balancing requests
  • Possess a working knowledge of all Loan Operation functions and be available to assist where needed
  • Stress full cooperation within department to help other departments in assisting customers when research and/or maintenance is required
  • Resolve customer complaints and problems in a timely, efficient manner. Make corrections and adjustments to accounts when needed
  • Communicate timely, unusual circumstances relating to any are of service effecting bank customers to appropriate officer
  • Participation in various meetings and committees
  • Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures including but not limited to policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act
  • Complete periodic training provided and/or required by Planters First Bank but not limited to BSA training within required time frames assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Education & Experience:

  • College degree (BBA/BBS) preferred
  • Extensive banking experience and operational experience and background required
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Strong written and oral communication and management skills required
