2022-2023 February School Administration Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools

Planters First Bank is proud to announce the 2022-2023 February School Administration Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools. This spotlight program is held in conjunction with the Pulaski County School System through their nomination and directional process on choosing the educator for the monthly spotlight that will run from September through April of each school year.

Congratulations, Jody Heath, for being selected as this month’s spotlight!

Mr. Heath is a 1988 graduate of Central High School in Macon. . He attended Georgia College and State University, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Marketing. After 20 years working in the industry, Mr. Heath obtained his Master's degree in Secondary Education. Mr. Heath taught for 10 years in Bibb County before obtaining his Specialist degree in Leadership. Mr. Heath moved to Pulaski County in 2018 when he began as Assistant Principal at Hawkinsville High School. Mr. Heath is in his first year as Principal of Hawkinsville High School and Pulaski County Middle School.

Mr. Heath entered education to inspire the next generation to develop a love for learning and to have a positive impact on students’ lives. He loves serving the students and faculty of HHS / PCMS and spends countless hours ensuring Pulaski County Schools are the best they can be.

Mr. Heath is married to Karen and they have two children: Jackson, a 2021 graduate of HHS, and Kaleigh Burt married to Mateo. They enjoy attending Westview Baptist Church and spending time with family.
