Posted on

Planters First Bank is proud to announce the 2022-2023 January School Administration Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools. This spotlight program is held in conjunction with the Pulaski County School System through their nomination and directional process on choosing the educator for the monthly spotlight that will run from September through April of each school year.

Congratulations, Carrie Burnham, for being selected as this month’s spotlight!

Mrs. Burnham is a 2006 graduate of Hawkinsville High School. She attended Armstrong University where she obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degree in middle grades education. Mrs. Burnham later obtained her Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has served in education for 13 years. Her career began at Perry Middle School, but she soon found her way back home where she is currently serving in her first year as Assistant Principal at PCMS.

Mrs. Burnham entered education to help students find a love for learning while helping them become critical thinkers. She has a passion for serving the students and faculty of PCMS and spends countless hours ensuring PCMS is the best it can be.

Mrs. Burnham is married to Blake and they have three beautiful children: Keslie, Emmie, and Branson. They enjoy camping, attending Antioch Baptist Church, and spending time outdoors.
