Planters First Bank is proud to announce the 2022-2023 October School Administration Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools. This spotlight program is held in conjunction with the Pulaski County School
System through their nomination and directional process on choosing the educator for the monthly spotlight that will run from September through April of each school year.
Congratulations, Monica Bass, for being selected as this month’s spotlight!
Monica Bass is the Pulaski County Elementary School, Principal. This is Ms. Bass's fourth year in this administrative role. She taught various grade levels and worked as the Academic Coach and Assistant Principal since joining the Pulaski County School System in 2000.
Ms. Bass was named PCES Teacher of the Year and Pulaski County School System Teacher of the Year in 2010. She has served on numerous committees during her tenure in the Pulaski County School System. Monica is a 1991 graduate of HHS. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Georgia Southern University in 1995. She earned Master's and Specialist degrees from Georgia Southwestern University in 1998 and 1999 respectively. Mrs. Bass has one son, Hudson, a freshman at UGA. Monica is a member of Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church.
