Planters First Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Powers as Regional President, Crisp & Dooly counties.
Tim Powers, Regional President
Tim has 24+ years of progressive banking experience and most recently worked at Bank of Tennessee as a Commercial Relationship Manager. Prior to joining Bank of TN, Tim worked at Ameris Bank in Moultrie GA as Market President. Other positions held throughout his career include Private Client Manager at US Trust (Bank of America), and Private Client Services relationship manager at SunTrust. Some of his recent civic duties include being a founding Board Member of the Colquitt County Educational Foundation; Past President, Rotary Club of Moultrie; and previous Board Chair, Moultrie Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce.
Tim graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Financial Planner. Tim and his wife, Amy are from Perry Georgia but have called Moultrie, GA home for the past several years. Tim and Amy have two daughters, Mary Grace and Abby. During his free time, Tim enjoys hunting, hiking, and golf. Tim and Amy are looking forward to calling Cordele home when they relocate to the area this summer.
