Shane Bell – Commercial Lender for Crisp and Dooly Market
Shane Bell joins Planters First Bank with over a decade of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as Vice President, Loan Officer, and Security Officer at Bank of Dawson. A 2016 graduate of the Georgia Bankers Association’s Georgia Banking School, Shane credits both the instruction he received and his personal connections with customers as keys to his success. His background in regional sales has also sharpened his ability to connect with clients, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need.

Shane’s commitment to his community extends beyond his professional life. He has served on several influential boards, including the Department of Family & Children Services (DFACS), the Terrell County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Dawson Planning Commission, Terrell Academy, and the Dawson Country Club. Additionally, he is Vice-Chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association Security Committee, focusing on safety and fraud prevention across Georgia’s banking industry.

Shane is married to Tara Moore Bell, and they have two children, Molly and Rhett, both of whom attend Auburn University.

Eli Tinsley, CEO of Planters First Bank, shared his thoughts on Shane’s appointment:
