Planters First Bank is proud to announce the October Teacher Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools. This spotlight is a new program that Planters First Bank has initiated and held in conjunction with the Pulaski County School System through their nomination and directional process on choosing the educator for the monthly spotlight that will run from October through April of each school year.

Planters First Bank announces the first recipient of the Teacher Spotlight is Mrs. Shelby Goetz. Mrs. Goetz is a teacher at LITTLE Children Growing at the Pulaski County Pre-K Program. She has over 20 years of experience in education with this being her first year teaching Pre-K. Mrs. Goetz’s experience and enthusiasm have had a positive effect on her teaching team, her students and she has been recognized by other teachers as being an exemplary teacher. Mrs. Goetz is married to Randall Goetz and they have 3 children, 3 grandsons, and 3 cats. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, singing, baking, playing the piano and camping. Mrs. Goetz believes that every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.

Planters First Bank presented Mrs. Goetz with a gift card to be utilized for her classroom, pencils for her students and a tote bag with Planters First Bank items.
