Pam Wheeler joins PFB team

Planters First Bank (“PFB”) announced today that Pam Wheeler has joined the PFB team as Vice President and Director of Deposit Operations. Wheeler has over 38 years of banking experience and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at SunMark Community Bank in Hawkinsville.

Commenting on the announcement, Kimberly Dockery, Chief Administrative Officer of PFB, stated, “Pam brings extensive knowledge and experience to the PFB team. We’re excited to have her on board and look forward to the positive influence and impact she will have on our entire organization.”

Wheeler added, “I believe a community bank is one of the most valuable assets of any community or town. As a native and lifelong resident of Hawkinsville and Pulaski County, community banking is my way to give back to the community by serving clients and helping them meet their goals and dreams.”

Wheeler resides in Hawkinsville with her husband, Bubba Wheeler who is retired from industrial maintenance and farming. They have two sons and two grandchildren. Wheeler is a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she serves on the Finance Committee and as Associational Messenger.
