Genny Newton, a dedicated team member of Planters First Bank for several years, has been promoted to the position of Treasury Sales Officer. In her new role, Genny will spearhead strategic initiatives to enhance treasury services for corporate clients. Her extensive experience and proven track record make her an invaluable asset to the Treasury team.

Ashley Sumner has been promoted to Solution Center Treasury Associate. In her new role, Ashley will be pivotal in supporting treasury operations and delivering exceptional service to Planters First Bank’s clients.

Additionally, we are honored to announce the retirement of Tracy NeSmith, AAP Vice President, effective September 27, 2024, after 33 years of dedicated service. Tracy is embarking on a new journey, and we are truly privileged to celebrate her remarkable career.
Tracy has been an invaluable member of our team, contributing significantly to the development and growth of the bank’s Digital Banking and Treasury program. She became an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and has been a member of the Georgia Banking Association (GBA) Operation and Technology Committee since July 1, 2015, where she served as Member, Vice Chair, and Chair. Her commitment, expertise, and positive attitude have left a lasting impact on all of us.
