Planters First Bank Announces New Leadership in the Middle Georgia Market

Planters Bank is pleased to announce their new Management Team in the Houston, Bibb and Peach Counties of Middle Georgia. The following individuals have been selected to lead the growth markets of Planters Bank into the future along with Eli Tinsley, Bank President, Chief Deposit Officer.

Clay Corbitt, Regional President
Clay joined Planters Bank in February 2013. Through hard work and determination, he has built a strong presence for the bank in Warner Robins. Due to his tremendous contributions he has been promoted to Regional President for the Houston, Bibb and Peach Counties. Clay has over 18 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Planters Bank, he worked at other local financial institutions and focused on business development through lending opportunities.

Clay is a graduate of Georgia College & State University and the University of Georgia Banking School. Clay lives in Warner Robins with his wife Katie and their two children, Lucy (5) and Cole (3). Clay and his family are active members of the Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins. When asked about his recent promotion, Clay said, “To be successful we need to understand the importance of relationships, the honor that comes from service, and remember to be good stewards of the trust placed in us. Lastly, and most importantly, we need to remember that this opportunity is because of God’s faithfulness.”

Jamie Langham, Market President
Jamie joined Planters Bank in November 2018 as the Vice President of Commercial Lending and has recently been selected to the lead the Macon area as the Market President. Prior to joining Planters Bank, Jamie worked at Robins Financial Credit Union as a Commercial Lender.

Jamie attended Middle Georgia State University majoring in Business Management. He is also a graduate of CUNA Business Lending School at The University of Wisconsin. Prior to his banking career, Jamie played professional baseball in the Cincinnati Reds organization. He enjoys hunting, fishing and golf. Langham and his wife Laura have one daughter, Emmy, who is in Kindergarten at Tattnall Square Academy. Langham is a past campaign chair for United Way of Central Georgia and a member of Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Warner Robins.

Kristina Gibbs, Market President
Kristina joined Planters Bank in 2017 as the Business Development Officer and has recently been selected to assist in leading the Warner Robins area as the Market President. Kristina has 10 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Planters Bank, she worked at local financial institutions as a bank teller and consumer lender.

Kristina and her husband John have been married for 7 years and reside in the Warner Robins area with their golden retriever (Gatsby). John is a local automotive repair shop owner, and both are active members of Second Baptist Church serving in the First Impressions and OneWay ministries. Kristina is the President of the Warner Robins Civitan Club which focuses on supporting those with mental and physical disabilities.

Jason Lord, Market President
Jason joined Planters Bank in January as the Market President in Perry, GA. Prior to joining Planters Bank, he worked at SunMark Community Bank and held several positions over eleven and a half years, including Commercial Loan Officer, Branch Manager, Information Security Officer and Network Administrator.

Jason is a member of The Grove Church and is involved with Middle Georgia State University’s Athletic Association as well as various civic organizations in the Middle Georgia area. He is a graduate of both the Middle Georgia State University and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He was born and raised in Hawkinsville and currently resides in Perry with his wife Carrie, a Perry High School Science teacher, and their children Annabelle (7) and Hudson (6).

Eli Tinsley, President, Chief Banking Officer of Planters Bank, had the following to say, “This new leadership team will allow us to grow in our two largest markets. I’m very proud of the accomplishments that Clay, Jamie, Kristina, and Jason have achieved and I’m certain they’ll offer excellent leadership in these vibrant markets for years to come.
