Middle Georgia (May 2023) - Planters First Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of W.D. "Dey" Palmer IV as the Market President for Perry. Palmer will be based in the Perry Office located at 1400 Sam Nunn Boulevard.
A native of Mitchell County, Palmer graduated from Mercer University with a bachelor's and master's degree. Additionally, he is a graduate of Georgia Banking School and LSU Banking School.

Palmer has been in the Perry area for over a decade, working with various financial institutions, and has over 20 years of commercial and retail banking experience. Palmer resides in Perry with his wife, Ellen, and son Wallace and is a member of the Perry First Methodist Church.
