With a career spanning over 25 years in the financial services industry, Robby brings a wealth of expertise in commercial lending, business development, and leadership to Planters First Bank. His deep ties to the Macon community and proven track record make him an invaluable addition to the bank’s commitment to serving Middle Georgia.
Robby earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Technology with a focus on Marketing from Macon State College and graduated from The University of Georgia’s prestigious Banking School.
Robby’s extensive career highlights include serving as Senior Vice President and Market President at Oconee State Bank, where he led the successful opening of a full-service branch in Macon and grew the market’s profitability. He has also held key leadership roles at SouthState Bank and Robins Financial Credit Union, managing portfolios and driving exceptional loan production. His hands-on experience in building business relationships and fostering economic growth aligns seamlessly with Planters First Bank’s mission.

He currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of the Macon Cherry Blossom Festival and as a Commissioner for Macon-Bibb Planning & Zoning. His previous leadership roles with the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia and Macon Downtown Rotary Club underscore his dedication to giving back to the community.
