Planters First Bank is proud to announce the 2021-2022 May Teacher Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools. This spotlight program is held in conjunction with the Pulaski County School System through their nomination and directional process on choosing the educator for the monthly spotlight that will run from September through April of each school year.
Congratulations, Tammy Deese, for being selected as this month’s Teacher Spotlight!
Tammy Deese is a teacher at L.I.T.T.L.E. Children Growing – Pulaski County Schools Pre-K program. She began working in 1999 for the Pulaski County School System as a paraprofessional. While working for the system, Mrs. Deese decided to return to school to become a teacher. In 2013, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Mercer University. In December of 2014, she began her teaching career as a Pre-K teacher at L.I.T.T.L.E. Children Growing. The following year, she became the teacher for students with special needs at Pre-K and Head Start. Mrs. Deese loves what she does and is passionate about her students and their learning. She is a dedicated mother and grandmother who loves spending time with her family.
