2023-2024 October Educator Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools

Planters First Bank proudly announces the 2023-2024 October Educator Spotlight for Pulaski County Schools. This spotlight program is held in conjunction with the Pulaski County School System through their nomination and directional process on choosing the educator for the monthly spotlight that will run from September through April of each school year.

Congratulations, Nancy Walker, for being selected as this month’s spotlight!

Nancy Walker is originally from Alabama. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Auburn University, Auburn, AL. After graduating from Auburn, she accepted a job with the University of Georgia Extension Service as a county agent. She married John Walker, and they have been married for 32 years. They have two daughters, Holly and Anna. Mrs. Walker has a Shih-Poo dog named Bella. Mrs. Walker lives in Warner Robins and attends Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Mrs. Walker began working for the Pulaski County School System in 2009. She worked as a paraprofessional at the elementary school. She was the ISS paraprofessional for 5 ½ years. She then transitioned to a Special Education paraprofessional. She was at the elementary school for 14 years. This school year, she is working at the Achievement Learning Center as a Special Education paraprofessional.
