It’s not every day that we celebrate a monumental milestone at Planters First Bank. On December 3, 2024, we proudly cut the ribbon on our new Macon Banking
Center, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our storied legacy. Let’s take a moment to reflect on where it all began. In 1896, Grover Cleveland served as President, William Yates Atkinson was Governor of Georgia, and on February 27, Hawkinsville became home to the first chartered location of Planters First Bank. More than 128 years later, we continue to grow, serving communities across Georgia with the same dedication to excellence and neighborly values that have defined us since day one.
Our newest location at 201 Sheraton Boulevard, Suite B, Macon, GA, directly across from Infiniti of Macon, is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide the best in banking services while embracing the vibrant spirit of Macon—a city steeped in history, culture, and innovation. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was made even more memorable by the incredible turnout of community members, local leaders, and our cherished customers. Your presence underscored the strong ties that unite us and our shared vision for a thriving Macon.
