US POSTAL SERVICE DELAYS

Posted on

We want to inform you that the USPS is experiencing delays in processing and delivering mail. Since February 24, 2024, mail originating from zip codes beginning with 310, which includes Crisp County, has been routed through a new Atlanta facility for processing, as opposed to the previous Macon facility. Unfortunately, the new Atlanta facility has encountered issues during this transition.

We advise our customers to consider these delays when paying their bills. To help you navigate these delays, we encourage you to explore the benefits of our digital banking services. With Planters First Bank's Digital Banking services, you can conveniently pay your bills, view your statements, deposit a check, and manage your accounts from the comfort of your home. Additionally, signing up for electronic statements can ensure you receive your account statements promptly, without relying on postal delivery.
